To The Reader’s Forum:

The League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County commends Social Studies teacher and moderator Greg Birner and his awesome team for their major and impressive accomplishment in the state-wide “We the People” competition.

The League is thrilled to recognize these outstanding students as they study the Constitution. this is vital to keeping democracy strong. We commend Westfield Academy and Central School for supporting the students’ efforts, and for creating an environment where this learning can thrive.

We wish the team continued success in the upcoming competition. They’ve already made their community extremely proud, and secure in the knowledge that the future will be in good hands.
