To The Reader’s Forum:

On behalf of the Framed in Pink Bowling Over Cancer Committee, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our Community for the support you have given our charity. As many of you are aware our charitable event supports local breast cancer care at UPMC Chautauqua. Over the last seven years we have raised over $50,000, and have been able to establish an endowment fund (Framed in Pink) at WCA Foundation to assist breast cancer patients with state of the art equipment at UPMC Chautauqua.

Our event is held every year during breast cancer month in October. Our plan was to hold this event again this year at Jamestown Bowling Company here in Jamestown.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 Pandemic has made it too hard to safely hold our charitable event this year. We are cancelling this year and our fundraising efforts for 2020. The safety of our family, volunteers and community is what is most important to us.

We will for sure be holding this event in October of 2021 and our committee is already planning ahead for an even bigger fundraiser. We look forward to your continued support in helping with your cause for men and women in the fight for breast cancer here in our local community.
