You Can’t Fix Stupid

To The Reader’s Forum:

If anyone still needs evidence that the current group of morons calling themselves Republicans are living in a delusional, make-believe world it is a recent poll that revealed that only 4 in 10 of these ‘stable geniuses’ think Trump mentioned getting dirt on the Bidens in the infamous call with the Ukrainian president. The survey, released on October 1st by Monmouth University, found that 40 percent of Republican respondents said Trump “probably did” raise the idea of an investigation into Biden and Biden’s son over untrue allegations of corruption during a July 25 conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Twenty-nine percent of Republican respondents said Trump “probably did not” mention an investigation into Biden. The remaining 31% of Republicans were likely in a stupor and failed to respond.

News Flash: Trump said he did. The transcript released by the White House documents it. The name Biden is there in black and white not once but twice. Even with that hard, indisputable evidence more than 1 in 4 of these imbeciles claim Trump “probably did not” mention Biden. Did Fox News not make it clear enough for them?

It is a sad and telling fact that 60% of Republicans don’t understand why Trump is being impeached even though the evidence is in black and white and Trump himself admits to it. Holy hoodwink, Batman.

Given this total detachment from truth and reality it is little wonder that so many of them still believe and support a man who has told over 12,000 false and misleading claims or outright lies since assuming the once great office of President. It is also true that this country is in great danger when more of these muttonheads turn out to vote than Americans with brains.
