To The Reader’s Forum:

It was reported in the Sept. 3, 2019, edition of The Post-Journal that “A Catholic school in Tennessee has removed the Harry Potter books from their library after the school’s priest decided they could cause a reader to conjure up evil spirits”.

Are you kidding me? What hypocrisy! We’re all now learning that many priests in the Catholic Church have been hiding and covering up child predators, molesters, and rapists for years! The school’s priest thinks evil spirits can be conjured up by “reading the text” of Harry Potter. Sounds to me as if this holier-than-thou priest knows how to conjure up his own kind of magic to make things he doesn’t agree with disappear. Get out your beads, Reverend, it’s time to do some “Hail Mary’s…”
