Tougher Fine Needed To Keep Pigs At Bay

To The Reader’s Forum:

I picked up two five-gallon buckets of beer cans, papers and plastic between the new Harrison Street bridge and the BPU recently!

Jamestown is getting a lot of attractions, but the tourists will not be attracted to the junk and litter all over the city on most of the strets. A lot of people just don’t care about throwing papers, plastic, beer cans and whiskey bottles out of their car windows. They get something nice in their city and the first thing they do is trash it up.

We the people need a tougher fine for pigs that live in pig pens that don’t want to walk to a trash can. We need tougher laws about littering or throw them in hail — then be sent out to pick up the litter!
