Police Take Quick Action For Abandoned Sled In Road
To The Reader’s Forum:
Driving on Route 394 near Bemus Point on the afternoon of Dec. 17, 2016, I saw a large plastic snow sled on the snowy pavement ahead.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s car (#726) just ahead of me quickly pulled off the road, got out of his warm patrol car and removed the sled from the road. His action likely prevented an accident or, at the very least, damage to someone’s vehicle.
It was nice to see a public servant take quick personal action and assume responsibility for protection to the community.
