Why Are Ignorant People Allowed To Vote?

To The Readers’ Forum:

Thank you for the balance provided in the Jamestown Post-Journal’s Sunday paper, (page A4). If you haven’t read it you definitely should fetch it out of the recyclables and give heed.

Michelle Malkin outdid herself with a remarkable candor that the uninformed liberal should pay attention to (before they consider casting a vote). It is a sad day in America when people know all about foolish sit-coms, Pokemon-go, latest video games, all the sports stats, and an assortment of other insignificant  blather, but haven’t a clue about what’s happening to America. Incidentally, we even have radio stations dedicated solely to sports; who threw a ball the fastest, who slid 10 feet into third base, what kind of beer the second baseman drinks, you get the idea.

Why in the world does this great nation allow people who are in blissful ignorance to vote for a president?  If your only source of information (concerning candidates) is the slanted slime efforts of “Saturday Night Live” it is best you stay home on November 8th.
