To The Reader’s Forum:

Our street gives us access to the world only onto Fairmount Avenue. We necessarily use that road to go anywhere.

I want to thank the workers who have been doing the repaving under very difficult conditions. First, they are out there in the cold, all day rain, working with heavy equipment,and having to put up with the heavy traffic. The traffic remains heavy because of concentrated commercial development, though many of us have learned to use alternate routes of the Hunt Road or through Celoron and Lakewood. They are to be commended for their dedication to the job.

Also, I want to thank the drivers of the many cars using that road for their patience and politeness. Without that, the project could have been a real mess. Again, a big thank you.
