To The Reader’s Forum:

“Most men would rather deny a hard truth than face it,” wrote George R. R. Martin in A Game of Thrones. Forum readers learned first-hand evidence of Mr. Alessi’s denial of the hard truths about Hillary Clinton. “Mostly unfounded stuff,” he wrote. “Constant barrage of mud slinging” which is “bound to “rub off” on her after 30 years of “hard work” in the public eye. Alas, she hoodwinked Mr. Alessi and many others with her well-manufactured lies.

Facts uncovered by Judicial Watch, Project Veritas, Wikileaks, former prosecutor Ken Starr, even the FBI, all seem to elude Mr. Alessi. The Freedom Articles website published “44 Reasons Not to Elect Hillary.” This, too, would provide additional objectivity since the article describes everything from Benghazi to Whitewater, numerous “Gates” (e.g., Cattle, File, China, Travel), pay-to-play by the Clinton Foundation, and more.

Worried about the “danger” Trump supposedly poses for “our great democracy,” Mr. Alessi has forgotten that we are not a democracy but a republic form of government. Men of character and honor, well-read in economics, philosophy, and history, constructed the most extraordinary form of government ever established. We were a nation of self-made people. Government was established to promote self-reliance, self-improvement, and self-fulfillment.

The Liberal Left, in its arrogance and ignorance of our history, has become adversarial to liberty and self-reliance. Special interest groups want more and more governmental intervention, entitlements, and “freebies.” These, of course, are not free but paid for by only 50 percent population who work and pay taxes. Like the oblivious frog in the pot of boiling water, too late will they wake to the fact that their liberties are lost under the tyranny of a totalitarian government, significantly advanced by Obama. Tragically, they take the country with them! Some call for the voter protective Electoral College to be eliminated and replaced by popular vote. Read Federalist 68!

Hillary Clinton represents an even greater threat and tyranny to our constitution: raising already high taxes; destroying the economy; appointing ultra liberal Supreme Court judges whose impact will be decades long; open borders; full-term abortions; free college. Her serious character flaws of greed for power, chronic lying, and willingness to cast away our sovereignty for her own personal gain-think Russia and U.S. uranium assets-place her in an evil category all her own.

Think long-term and vote, Nate Wilson. Do you want a Hillary Supreme Court packed with multiple Ginsburgs?!
