Air Museum Thanks The Post-Journal
To The Readers’ Forum:
I read with interest the articles published on Aug. 26 and Sept. 2 featuring “A Lesson In Aviation” and “The Secret Plane in Jamestown.”
Thank you for publishing a special part of local history and our contribution to World War II.
As the curator of the Lucile M. Wright Air Museum, I want to tell your readers they can learn or see more information about the TDR-1 Drone program here at the Air Museum at 300 N. Main St. including actual parts of the airplane. We have a nose gear and vertical stabilizer that is made out of oak plywood.
