Local Fans Will Be Ready For Week 18
It would be almost impossible to satisfy a majority of the area’s National Football League fans. As we know, many here root for the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns.
So far, only one of those teams has qualified for the playoffs. In a modest surprise, it is the Browns.
But the other two still have hopes.
Buffalo’s road is simple – win and take the second seed in the American Football Conference. A loss by the Bills to the Miami Dolphins is where Pittsburgh can capitalize.
If the Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens – who may be playing many back-ups due to their clinching of the top AFC seed – they will be a wild-card team. Both the Bills and Steelers will also be watching the Jaguars-Titans and Colts-Texans game with interest.
Week 18 starts Saturday with the Steelers-Ravens game and ends with the Sunday night Bills-Dolphins battle. There’s plenty at stake for the teams — and local fans.
