Let’s Make 2021 A Better Year Than 2020
There won’t be huge crowds and big parties to send 2020 on its way.
Few will be sad to see this year come to an end, with its daily pandemic updates, the struggles to see loved ones, particularly those in nursing homes; the effect of COVID-related shutdowns on our economies and the livelihoods so many of us depend on to provide for our families; the cancellation of many long-enjoyed events and traditions; and the ever-deepening division amongst many Americans politically and socially.
If only it were as simple as just tearing a page off of the proverbial calendar. We all know it doesn’t work that way. The trials that ended 2020 will be staring us in the face tomorrow as 2021 begins. They don’t have to be permanent, and we can all endeavor to make 2021 a better year then the one we leave behind.
Happy New Year. We wish all our readers a happy, healthy and prosperous 2021.
