Please Enjoy The Holiday Responsibly
New Year’s Eve traditionally has been a time to let one’s hair down and celebrate. Too often, that means drinking too much alcohol, then getting behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.
People can die when that happens. All too often, they are innocent victims of drunken drivers.
Law enforcement agencies will be paying special attention to motorists this New Year’s Eve. They should throw the book at anyone found driving while intoxicated.
There are any number of ways to enjoy the holiday revelry while keeping yourself and the traveling public safe. This Tuesday evening, we urge local residents to find a method of doing so – and stick to it.
