Carol L. Peterson, 89, of Frewsburg, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Heritage Park Nursing Facility. She was born on June 2, 1937 in Oil City, PA, a daughter of the late Howard W. and Katherine Reed Motter. She had been employed at JCPenney, AVI Foodsystems, and was a cashier at Lakewood Rod & Gun Club for many years. Carol always looked forward to fishing trips to Canada with her husband, Wayne. Joe George left this earth from his Frewsburg home on Saturday, August 1st, in the company of family members, after a long battle with cancer. He was born March 19, 1963, to his parents Robert and Tomasina "Massey" George, the youngest of five children. Joe was a graduate of Jamestown High School in 1981. Following high school graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he did his duties in the Seabees, serving as a carpenter and builder.
