Dick Freeman, age 100, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He was born in Jamestown, NY. He graduated from Jamestown High School and from the University of Michigan with undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering. While at Michigan, he lettered in wrestling. He served in the Navy at the end of World War II and during the Korean War. Dick worked for TRW in Jamestown until 1975 and then he led the team to build and operate a new ball bearing plant in Gainesville Georgia.
