Rita J. Dickey

Rita J. Dickey, 71, of Buffalo, formerly of Bemus Point, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at Absolut Care of Aurora Park. She was born in Jamestown on Feb. 7, 1954, to the late Lester O. Dickey and Evelyn Strickland Dickey Hurlburt. Rita spent many working years in the clerical department at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and was a member of the Shining Light Apostolic Ministry in Buffalo, NY. Marlene J. Roth, 86, peacefully passed away at the Warren Hospice House on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 11 am-2 pm Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at Lind Funeral Home. The graveside service, led by Reverend Mel McGinnis, and burial will be at 2:30 pm Friday at Busti Cemetery. The Celebration of Life service for Marlene will be at 1 pm Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at Kiantone Congregational Church, 646 Kiantone Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701.
