James R. Mortimer 1957-2025 James R. Mortimer, 68, of Jamestown, died Sunday Nov. 30, 2025, in UPMC Chautauqua. A lifelong Jamestown resident, he was born Oct. 15, 1957, a son of the late Russell and Alice Swanson Mortimer. He was a 1976 graduate of Jamestown High School and then went on to be employed by Weber Knapp for over 45 years. Jim was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, attending the West Jamestown congregation. Reita A. Wilson, 85, of Frewsburg, NY, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025 at her home. She was born on Dec. 10, 1939 in Smithmill, PA, the daughter of the late Albert and Anna Polinsky Genesi. She was a graduate of Moshannon Valley School District. Reita was a member of the Samuel L. Derby American Legion Post 556 Ladies Auxiliary. Daniel R. Hallquist, 72, of Jamestown passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 at UPMC Chautauqua. A Jamestown native, he was born April 27, 1953, one of two sons of the late Richard E. and Leola M. Phillips Hallquist. Dan was a graduate of JHS, JCC and Binghamton University. Prior to retirement, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of FTT Manufacturing in Geneseo, NY.
