Randy W. Berlin

Randy W. Berlin, 63, of Busti, passed away Tuesday September 29, 2026, at home surrounded by his family, following a lengthy illness.

A lifelong area resident, he was born May 19, 1963, in Jamestown, a son of the late Edwin and Sandra Berlin.

He was a 1981 graduate of Jamestown High School.

Randy recently retired from Chautauqua County as a motor equipment operator at the landfill.

He was a member of the Busti Men's Club and Lakewood Rod and Gun Club.

Randy will be remembered for his unwavering love and devotion to his family. A devoted husband father, and grandfather, his family was truly the center of his world. He cherished every moment with those he loved and took great pride in his family. He will be remembered for the way he made his family feel loved, supported, and protected, and for never letting a goodbye pass without saying, "I love you." No matter what, those words were always spoken, and they will remain with his family forever. His love will live on through his family and in the countless memories they will carry with them always.

Randy found joy in the simple things he loved. He was a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan and a lifelong Dale Earnhardt fan who shared a deep love for cars. He enjoyed working with his hands, whether fixing, building, or simply figuring out how things worked. He also loved golfing and spending time outdoors, making memories along the way doing the things he enjoyed most.

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Margaret Berlin; two daughters Meghan Berlin of Charlotte, NC and Katheryn (Jake) Currie of Fort Mill, SC; two grandchildren Quinn Currie and Jack Currie; his sister Rebecca Voty and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Berlin who died February 2, 2026.

A time of visitation will be held from 3-5 pm Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. No formal funeral service will be observed.
