Noland Miller passed away October 3, 2026 at the age of 67 after a long medical battle. Noland was a courageous survivor of Willowbrook State School in Staten Island. He found a home in Celoron, NY where he lived his life surrounded by those that loved and cared for him at the Resource Center. Noland expressed himself with his beautiful eyes, facial expressions, and through vocalizations. Those fortunate enough to know Noland on a personal level found a deep connection as they enjoyed his expressions demonstrating his love of life. Music, friendly conversation, and even the occasional loud ruckus that drew everyone in were the true joys of Noland's life. Even on the worst days, Noland adored one-to-one attention, especially from the ladies. Noland was a member of Rejoicing Spirits at Busti Church of God as well as Blackwell AME Zion Church. In lieu of a job, he attended Edgewater Day Habilitation where he was able to enjoy the community, shopping, and numerous activities.
Noland was currently living at Terrace View in Buffalo, NY, where he also developed connections with people over the years. Noland has joined Joe, Davida, and others to continue the ruckuses and flirtations that bound them together over the years.
