Nancy A. Harmon Waterman

Nancy A. Harmon Waterman, 78, of Jamestown, died Monday October 5, 2026, in Buffalo General Hospital.

Born September 5, 1948, in Jamestown, she was a daughter of the late Clifford Harmon, Sr. and Beverly Galbreath Harmon.

Nancy held numerous jobs throughout her lifetime. She eventually took classes and got her GED after which she received an associate's degree from JCC. She was then employed by The Resource Center as an aide in the traumatic brain injury department.

She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and watching television especially The Price Is Right, Gunsmoke and Let's Make a Deal. She had a great love for God and family and made friends easily wherever she went.

Surviving is her husband, Richard Waterman, whom she married February 14, 1998; four children, David (Vicky) Whitford of Youngsville, PA, Debra (Dean) Abbey of Kennedy, Amy Stafford of South Carolina and Mary (Don) Mohney of Garland, PA; three stepchildren, Scott (Michelle) Waterman of Bradford, Pamela Waterman of Hemet, CA and Jason Waterman of Falconer; 31 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and siblings, Clifford Harmon, Jr of Jamestown, Dale Harmon of Celoron, Lori (Keith) Anderson of Sinclairville, Sherri Harmon of Jamestown and John (Darcy) Harmon of South Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Edward Whitford, Jr and Joshua Whitford and a grandson, Charles Brown III.

A celebration of life will be held at the Busti Church of God on October 17, 2026 at 4:00 pm.
