Lauren Andrew Collins, 62, of Lakewood, NY, passed away on October 1, 2026, with his family by his side, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Niagara Falls on January 13, 1964.
Lauren played numerous sports in his youth and found a love for Hockey. Following schooling, he went on to serve in the US Army from 1987 to 1989. After his military service, Lauren was employed in numerous jobs including at the former Holiday Inn and Quality Markets Warehouse in Jamestown.
Lauren was a family man who possessed a fierce love for his wife and children. He enjoyed gardening, being in the company of friends and family, and lending a helping hand whenever possible. He never missed a Sabres game and could routinely recite games and players of the past.
Lauren is survived by the love of his life, Lisa, whom he married April 16th, 1983. They had two children, Lucas (Hannah) Collins of Busti, NY and Lacey (Carl) Chapman of Lakewood, NY. He is also survived by grandchildren, Alyssa, Madelyn, Macie, Cole, and Kadence, as well as a great grandson, Odin; his siblings, Nadine Mckeown, Joddie Walker, Wendy Mckotch, and Todd Collins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Norman (Mary) Collins and Maxine (Frank) Jones; as well as siblings, Richard Collins, Sharon Ference, and Neil Collins.
