Joseph T. Fedrick, affectionately known to many as "Tyrone," was born on July 27, 1974, in Rochester, New York, to the late Daisy M. Fedrick. He passed on August 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, hard work, and cherished memories.
Tyrone was a hardworking, big-hearted man who took pride in providing for and caring for the people he loved. If there was one thing everyone knew about him, it was that he was going to work. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile, his unmistakable belly laugh, and his ability to find joy in the simplest things. He was a simple man who loved deeply, protected those close to him, and could always be counted on for a good laugh.
Tyrone truly loved the Lord, had a deep love for music and enjoyed DJing. He DJ'd many times for the Gospel Festival and looked forward to it every year. He also had a lifelong love for basketball, a passion that became a meaningful part of his family's story.
He was the proud father of Diamond Fedrick and Jazmine Fedrick and helped raise Kayla Frank, whom he loved as his daughter. He was also the grandfather of twin granddaughters, Elianna and Aria. Although he never had the opportunity to meet them, they will forever be a part of his legacy and will grow up knowing the love and memory of their grandfather.
Tyrone was formerly married to Cindy Fedrick, the mother of his daughters. He later shared several meaningful years with Anna Hayes, whom he loved deeply.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy M. Fedrick, Rushie Davis and his longtime partner, Anna Hayes.
Tyrone leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Diamond and Jazmine; Kayla; his granddaughters, Elianna and Aria; and a host of family, friends, and loved ones who will forever remember his kindness. He also leaves behind, Charlie Fedrick, Jimmy Fedrick, Shawnea Fedrick, Jean Thomas, Jacob Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Vonetta Thomas, and many others who loved him and considered him family.
Tyrone will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kind heart, protective spirit, love of music and basketball, contagious smile, and most of all, for the way he loved. His daughters will carry his memory through the lives they live, and his family will continue to share his stories, laughter, and love for generations to come.
