Dolores A. Thompson, 89, of Ashville passed away Monday, October 26, 2026 in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
She was born January 2, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Clyde R. and Lillian Schill Thompson.
Prior to retirement, Dolores was employed by WCA Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, bowling, playing cards, cooking, and going to the OTB and casino.
Surviving are four children: Brenda Truex of Jamestown, Kevin Thompson of Ashville, Patricia Kress of Indiana, Darlene Kress of Kentucky; 7 grandchildren: Mark, Michael, Autumn, Kyle, Christen, Rebecca, and Milford; and 4 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Thompson whom she married May 8, 1965, who died September 6, 2018; two sons: Milford and Brian Thompson; a daughter, Diane Kress; and her brother, Jack, and sister, Ruth.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ross Mills Cemetery.
