Cynthia "Cindy" Jean (Maybee) LoIacono, 72 of Jamestown NY and Port Charlotte FL, passed away on October 24, 2026, at UPMC Chautauqua. She was born in Hornell, NY on April 6, 1954, to Donald E. Maybee and Lois V. Fuller Maybee of Scio, NY.
Cindy graduated from Scio Central School and Allegany County BOCES in Belmont, NY. She went on to earn her degree in business management from Jamestown Business College.
Cindy met her husband Rosario "Ross" in 1972 and were married in 1974. Ross came to the United States in 1961 from Sicily. They were happily married for 52 years.
Cindy was employed by Allegany County BOCES in Belmont NY as well as Allegany County Youth Corp., The Post Journal and Sans Corp. in Jamestown, NY. She worked as an Admissions secretary for SUNY Jamestown Community College for 27 years.
Cindy loved and cherished her son, Ryan, his wife Danielle and her grandchildren. She loved to read and spent a lot of time reading to her grandchildren and making goodies for them. She loved music and singing. Her friends were very important to her. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Rosario LoIacono of Jamestown NY, her son, Ryan Adam (Danielle Ball) LoIacono, her grandchildren, Mason, Ashton and Hudson all of Deleon Springs FL, and her sister, Cheryl Maybee (Michael) Smith of OH. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Charles Robert Maybee and Calvin Eugene Maybee, her sister, Carol Maybee Faulkner, as well as two infant baby boys.
Visiting will be held on Thursday October 29, 2026, from 4PM-7PM at Riccardi's Hubert Funeral Home.
