Callie A. Seastedt Pellerito

Callie Anne Seastedt Pellerito, 52, Jamestown NY passed away at home surrounded by her beloved family on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Callie was born on February 11,1974 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Susan C Seastedt and the late George D Seastedt.

Callie graduated from Jamestown High School in 1992. She worked extremely hard on her continuing education, earning an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Jamestown Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Fredonia, as well as a Master of Science and Education Degree. Callie was passionate about her studies and would often share fun facts she was learning along the way with family, such as what the difference between cumulonimbus, cumulus and stratus clouds were while she was taking a meteorology class as an elective at SUNY Fredonia. Car rides were very educational during that semester.

Callie was a lifelong learner and an avid reader. Her reading often tied in with her passion for fitness and nutrition. She cared about the health of her loved ones and shared what she learned with them regularly. Callie genuinely wanted the best for everyone in her life. Her research and book collection is a gift she has left behind to continue sharing her passion and care with her beloved family and friends.

Prior to Callie completing her education at SUNY Fredonia, she was a valued employee at Landy Drugs, Wegmans and Northwest Savings Bank. Once she completed her degrees, Callie found her calling as a Reading Specialist at Lincoln Elementary School, where she was currently employed. She loved her job, the children and her coworkers who became beloved friends and family to her. Callie looked forward to going to school and sharing her love and passion for reading and learning with the students and families she cared so deeply about.

Callie was generous with her time and heart. She previously volunteered for the big sister's program, participated in many Kidney Association walks and generously donated to multiple little pantries. She was a communicant of Holy Apostles at St John Church where she had previously been a religious education teacher and volunteered in many capacities.

Callie loved cooking for her family. She made almost everything from scratch including her son's birthday cakes. She loved traditional family recipes such as her family's beloved Catalina Chicken and Thanksgiving stuffing as well as her new favorites in her favorite cookbooks from Chef AJ, Chloe Coscarelli and her beloved Esselstyn Family. Callie would want you to check them out. As she told us many times, the Esselstyn Family will improve and change your life.

Callie enjoyed going to live concerts to see her favorite musicians Billy Joel and Barry Manilow. She loved having Christmas music playing during the season, especially Kenny G, Michael Buble and Josh Groban. She loved having music on that brought the joy and peace of the holiday season into her home. She loved listening to her favorite music while walking which included the "Rocky" movie soundtracks. If she needed to get fired up, it was a guarantee that she had "Eye of the Tiger" on her playlist.

Callie and her family loved spending time together whether around the dinner table, at the baseball field or on family vacations. She and her family particularly loved relaxing on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland and basking in the joy and wonder at Disney World.

Callie was gifted with lifelong friendships in her friends that became family- Sara, Cathy, Danielle and Chris. Callie and her family were also blessed with her many other friends and Lincoln school family. These earth angels were not only blessings in Callie's early and professional life but were constant sources of support and encouragement for Callie when she and her family needed it the most. We, the family, would like to thank them with all our hearts. Your love and support meant the world to Callie and to us.

Along with her other passions, Callie was an avid fan of her son, Jack's Knights travel baseball team, along with his other teams he played on, and the Boston Red Sox-especially once Jack became a die-hard fan at only four or five years old. Callie adored Jack above all else. She had said time and time again that he is what she was most proud of in her life. Callie poured everything she had into giving Jack the most fun experiences, the best life and all the love in her heart plus some.

In addition to her loving mother, Susan, Callie is survived by her beyond devoted husband, Fred M Pellerito whom she married August 08, 2009, their beloved son, Jack M Pellerito and stepdaughters, Alyson (Patrick) Becker, Sydney (Taylor) Bennett, Grayson (Craig) Forrest and Elizabeth Pellerito. She will also be missed by her fur baby, Sullivan "Sully" Cooper Pellerito and her fur brother, Fallon Meyers Seastedt, whom she adored and spoiled. In addition, Callie is survived by her very close cousins, Laurie, Krissy, Julie, Patrick and Colin and their families, along with many other dear aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Callie was the backbone of our family. She hosted our family dinners, birthdays, holidays and gave us the best gift of our lives with her son, Jack. We will continue the traditions she valued as well as the new ones she created. Callie will be dearly missed, however we will honor her and make her proud in all we do, as she requested. We love you forever, Cal.

Our family would like to thank her Roswell Park team and especially Chautauqua Palliative and Hospice for all the devoted care they provided to Callie and our family.
