Katherine Marie Zahler, 77, of Coraopolis, PA, passed away on September 21, 2026, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Known as Kathy or Kitten, she was born May 29, 1949, in Elmira, NY, the daughter of Charles W. Zahler, Jr. and Katherine Cuffney Zahler.
For the past forty years she resided in Merakey Allegheny Valley School. Her family would like to thank both the school and the hospital for the loving care they have given over the years.
She is survived by her sister, Beth (Dennis) Green of Jamestown, and her nephews, Greg (Liz Seegraber) Green of Durham, NC, and Jeff Green of Rochester, NY.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant nephew, Jamie Green.
A private service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Rev. Marcin Porada will officiate.
The arrangements have been entrusted to the Lind Funeral Home.
