Jerry Lee Weaver, "Lee" rejoiced in joining his heavenly family on September 8, 2026, surrounded by his girls. He was born on March 28, 1943, to Leonard and Ermina Weaver in Meadville, PA. Jerry attended Clymer Central School and enlisted in the United States Navy in 1962, serving on board the USS Everglades.
Jerry was a longtime member of the North Clymer United Methodist/Community Church, where he served as a board member, repair crew and a member of their softball league.
He was also a member of the American Legion, Post #0874, where he served on the Color Guard.
Jerry loved his family first and foremost; he was never happier than when all his girls were home. He'd always say "I love you more tomorrow than I do today" as we were leaving. Jerry also loved all things with an engine. He often joked that no one was getting his GTO because he was being buried in it! He had a job he loved, driving semi. He drove for Fairbanks Farms, SM Flickinger and Sysco, but his absolute favorite job was hauling milk for Heil Transportation Inc. They became his family and were kind enough to keep him on doing odd jobs when he could no longer drive. Jerry shared his love of driving with two nephews, Kevin Weaver and Mike Weaver, whom he helped secure employment with Heil Transportation Inc. Jerry met no strangers, he loved spending time with a special neighbor and friend, Jason Rhodes. He loved their time together and was just so in awe of Jason's kindness, work ethic and willingness to "go have a beer and wings with an old man".
Jerry's legacy of love lives on through his daughters, Cindy Meyers and her partner, John "Val" Valduga and Connie Weaver; his granddaughters: Nichol Hannold and her husband, Alex and Hailee Berringer, and her husband, Ty. Jerry also leaves four great-grandsons to cherish his memory: Rexton Hannold, Jackson Hannold, Layne Hannold and Weston Berringer; his brother, Bill Weaver and his wife, Elaine; as well as two sisters-in-law: Janette Weaver (late Harry) and Marilynn Weaver (late Ronald) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jerry's time on earth was a blessing to all that knew him including his caregivers. His daughter Connie would like to thank the people who blessed his life and made it possible to keep him home including Robin Bal, Brenda Young, Nichol Hannold, Theresa Nichols, Stephanie Ferraro, LECOM VNA Hospice and most importantly Stacie Allen for their excellent care and concern for her parents.
Robin was a longtime friend and caregiver for both parents. Stacie truly loved both Mary and Jerry, bringing them into her heart and faith. Connie often told Stacie there was no way she could have done this without her. Connie's heartfelt thanks go to all these women, but especially, Robin, Nichol and Stacie.
Memorial contributions in Jerry's memory may be made to the Clymer Community Church,
The Alzheimer's Association or the ALS Association.
Family invites you to Jerry's celebration of life on Saturday September 12, 2026 at the North Clymer Community Church, 7795 Rt. 474, North Clymer, with viewing hours from 10 am-12 pm, with a service beginning at 12 pm with a brief graveside ceremony at Clymer Center Cemetery and a luncheon following at the Dutch Village Restaurant in Clymer. Jerry's favorite color was red, feel free to wear a splash of color to celebrate his homecoming.
