Jeanette Ann Mason, 90, of Frewsburg, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 8, 1936 in Wellsville, NY, a daughter of the late Hiram and Desmond Stacey Shawl.
Jeanette was a graduate of Randolph Central School.
She was a member of the former Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and a member of Ivory Cemetery Association.
Jeanette was a dedicated homemaker for many years and had worked at Loblaws.
She enjoyed square dancing and spent many hours working in her flower beds. She was a great cook and was loved by all.
Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Paulette (Lance Clark) Petransky and son, Timothy Mason, both of Frewsburg; a bonus "son," Jeff Darling of Alaska; two grandchildren, Jeffery Mason and Shaina (Jared) Mason; five great-grandchildren: Hayley and Barrett Mason, Gunner, Sterling, and Grayson Sundlov; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Mason, whom passed away on June 26, 2025, and her twin brother, Jack Shawl in 1953.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Ivory Cemetery.
