Jack A. Juul, 92, of Kiantone, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
He was born on June 25, 1934 in Jamestown, a son of the late Oskar W. and Doris M. Anderson Juul.
Jack was a 1952 graduate of Jamestown High School.
He was a member of Busti Church of God, the Vikings Lodge, the Jamestown Boys Club Alumni, and Carroll Masonic Lodge 1147. He was also a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 3 for over 70 years.
Jack was a stone mason by trade and was known for his meticulous work. He was employed at numerous local contractors including Clayton D. Anderson Masonry and later Pustelak Masonry. He was proud to have built his own home and also both of his children's and grandson's homes. One of the most prominent examples of his craftsmanship is the stonework at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute.
Jack enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, swimming, woodworking, taking care of his lawn, construction work, and Thursday Men's coffee at the local Burger King.
Jack is survived by his wife, Constance A. Nelson Juul; a son Lynn A. (Diane) Juul; a daughter Ann M. (Brian) Harris; four grandchildren: Ben (Ashley) Juul, Tim (Jamie) Juul, Jacob (Meredith) Johnson, Rob Johnson; seven great-grandchildren: Reilly and Silas Juul, Adelynn, Elsie, and Millie Juul, Camden and Quinn Johnson; a step-daughter, Kim (Ralph) Borkowski; a step-son, Douglas Dahlgren; several step-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Genevieve and Dawn Juul.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly J. Sampson Juul; four brothers: Donald (Grace) Juul, Robert (Phyllis) Juul, Richard Juul, Kenneth Juul; a sister, Beverly Shaka, a son-in-law, Roger T. Johnson; and a step-son, Kirt Dahlgren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Busti Church of God. Pastor Roy Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 11 am - 1 pm on Friday in the church.
