Diane Louise Nichols Rice, age 83 of Harborcreek, PA passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Pleasant Ridge Manor. She was born November 28, 1942, in Pittsfield, PA to the late Ralph Nichols and Dorothy Wynn Nichols Spencer.
Diane was formerly employed at Sam's Club in Erie for several years in the bakery department. She also played the fiddle and mandolin in her husband's band "Glen Rice and Country Association." She loved making butterflies and crocheting.
Diane was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob Olsen, Ralph and Harold Nichols, and sister, Skip Olson.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Edward Rice, son, Eddy Rice of North East, daughters, Robin Simpson (Jim) of Ripley, Pamela Mcnair (Tim) of Longwood Florida, Rashelle Rice of Florida, and Jennifer Rice of Fredonia; Sisters, Eleanor Nichols of Jamestown, NY, Dottie Daley of NY, and Edna Roman (Roy) of Jamestown. Brothers, Kenneth Nichols of Jamestown, Don Spencer (Vonnie) of Corry, and Chuck Spencer (Sherrie) of Jamestown, as well as eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
