Charles M. "Chuck" Johnson III, 76, of Cypress, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Bristol Park Assisted Living in Cypress.
Born February 1, 1950, Chuck was the son of the late Charles M.
Johnson Jr. and Mary Rodgers Johnson. He graduated from Jamestown High School and later earned a business degree from Jamestown Community College.
Before retiring, Chuck was a self-employed salesman with Professional Sales Consultants. His career took him throughout the Northeast, where he sold cleaning products to hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. His outgoing personality and ability to connect with people served him well throughout his career.
Chuck was an avid golfer who loved socializing and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He will be especially remembered for his quick wit, warm personality, and devotion to his family. No distance was too great when it came to those he loved, he rarely missed a grandchild's birthday and was always there to celebrate the holidays. Christmas with his family held a particularly special place in his heart.
Chuck is survived by his children, Kevin (Janet) Johnson of Lyndonville, New York, and Melissa (Scott) Werner of Cypress, Texas; his daughter-in-law, Stephanie Johnson of Northampton, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Autumn Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Skylee Werner, Grace Johnson, and Haleigh Johnson; and his older sister, Ellen Marie Edwards of Dawsonville, Georgia.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his son, David Johnson.
