Sharon L. Harper, of Jamestown, New York, passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 64, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Born July 11, 1962, in Lockport, New York, Sharon was the daughter of Frances A. Harper. A lifelong caregiver, Sharon touched many lives, and her compassion knew no bounds. She was a person who loved furiously, and those fortunate enough to be part of her life were loved with her whole heart. Her strength, personality, humor, and love left an impression that will never be forgotten.
Sharon especially loved music and seeing her favorite bands, spending time in the company of friends, and searching for beach glass. She will be remembered for her fierce, unconditional love and friendship, and for her willingness to help anyone in need.
Above all, Sharon treasured her nephew, Liam, whom she described as "my whole heart" and "the greatest gift in my life." The bond they shared was extraordinarily special, and the love she had for him was immeasurable.
Sharon is survived by her sister, Diane (Christopher) Greene; her beloved nephew, Liam; and her dear friends, whose friendship and love meant so much to her.
She was predeceased by her mother, Frances A. Harper, and her beloved aunt, Patricia A. Albee. Those who knew Sharon will remember not simply the years she lived, but the way she lived them, the laughter she shared, the memories she created, and the way she loved the people around her.
A Celebration of Sharon's Life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choosing.
