Mary Kay "Pete" Wheelock

Mary Kay "Pete" Wheelock, 75, of 195 Price Ave., passed away Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026 at UPMC Chautauqua. She was the wife of Ronald E. Wheelock, whom she married in 1969.
Mary Kay was born in Jamestown on Dec. 29, 1950, a daughter of the late Thomas and Crystal Wilcox Weller, and was a 1969 graduate of Panama Central School.
She worked in earlier years for the Barber Center in Erie before becoming a teacher at the Resource Center here in Jamestown.
A loving wife, "Pete" was always a very caring woman who enjoyed working with all the youth at the Barber Center and the Resource Center.
Along with her husband Ron, she is survived by her siblings, Kenny Weller of Erie, Sharon Latona of Indiana, and Susie Lindell of Florida; a daughter, Robin (Wayne) Benner of Waynesboro, PA; and grandsons, Bryton and Preston Hansen.
Following her wishes, a private burial will be held in Ashville's Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. Share your condolences at www.lindfuneralhome.com.
