Lorraine M. (Hinman) Milbrandt, 96, of Lebanon Road, Steamburg, passed away Thursday August 13, 2026at the Pines Nursing and Rehab Center in Olean.
She was born April 6, 1930 in Salamanca the daughter of the late Ernest Emory and Margaret Ellen (Friel) Hinman.
Lorraine was a 1947 graduate of Randolph Central School. She was a lifelong home maker and retired from Allegany State Park where she had worked at numerous concessions at both Red House and Quaker.
Lorraine was a communicant of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Randolph and the Altar & Rosary Society.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Marie Doriguzzi of Lewis Run, Pa., three sons; John Michael Milbrandt of Amherst, Joseph Charles Milbrandt of Steamburg and Robert John Milbrandt of Ellington, daughter-in-law; Colleen Milbrandt of Bradford and 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Milbrandt, whom she married on October 16, 1948 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Randolph, and who preceded her on January 17, 2009, three sons, Timothy Milbrandt, James Milbrandt and Patrick Allen Milbrandt and siblings; Bernard, James, Gerald and Robert Hinman, Marian Bachman, Margaret Smuskiwicz and Eleanor Duhan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday (August 21, 2026) in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Randolph with the Rev. Marcin Porada as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the VanRensselaer and Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St, Randolph.
