Linda Diane Rockafellow Engle, 83, of Clymer, NY, joined her heavenly family on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Country Acres, Titusville, PA.
She was born on August 12, 1942, in Corry, PA, a daughter of the late G. Arden Rockafellow and Marian (John) Ganster Rockafellow Logan.
Linda was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry Area High school.
She was employed at Raymond MFG in Corry, Pa., before starting her family. After her children were grown, she worked at the Senior Center in Corry, Pa. After retirement, her focus was her grandchildren.
Family always came first to Linda, and she loved spending time with them. A close second to Linda's heart was her love for Holstein Cows. She had many other interests, including camping (hot dogs at midnight around the campfire), gardening, walking in the woods with the dogs, playing cards or games, collecting very specific white rocks and later leaves. Linda also had an amazing sense of humor and was an outstanding Scrabble player.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Milton F. “Jim” Engle, whom she married on June 20, 1963; sister, Naomi Clark and two brothers, Duane and Dennis Rockafellow.
Linda is survived by her son, Steven (Jane) Engle; her daughter, Dina (Scott) Stewart; two grandchildren, Jason Stewart and Stephanie (Ian) Clark; great-granddaughter, Katherine Clark: brother-in-law, Tom Clark: two sisters-in-laws, Judy Rockafellow and Sandra Angle: and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 28th at West Spring Creek Congregational Church, Old Route 77, Spring Creek, PA 16436 from 10 AM until the time of the memorial service there at 11:30 AM. Rev. Michael Sperry will officiate.
Burial will take place in West Spring Creek Cemetery, Spring Creek, PA.
