Kathy L. Nunn, 68, formerly of Delaware Avenue, went to be with Jesus, Friday July 31, 2026, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing, after a long and courageous battle with a rare neurological disease.
Born June 6, 1958, in Jamestown, she was a daughter of the late James and Betty Almgren Brown.
She was a 1976 graduate of Southwestern Central School.
Kathy enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, decorating and remodeling. She loved her dogs and the outdoors and was well traveled.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Heritage Green for the care they provided to Kathy.
Surviving are two children, Daniel Nunn of South Korea and Hayley Nunn of Rock Hill, SC; a sister, Karen (Lloyd) Frary of Ashville; a sister-in-law, Cindy Brown of Frewsburg; several nieces and nephews, and her best friend, Ann Atwell.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Nunn, whom she married October 3, 1981, and who died March 31, 1988, an infant brother, Jeffrey Brown and a brother, David Brown.
The funeral will be held at 1 pm Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received from noon to 1 pm Saturday.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
