John T. Angeletti, 85, of Ashville, NY passed away on July 25, 2026. He was born on January 14, 1941 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania to Mary Ofterdinger Thorne and Telio Angeletti, and attended Southwestern Central School. John was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict.
A machinist, John worked at SKF-MRC for over 40 years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and shooting skeet with his buddies. John was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, American Legion and the Big Tree Sportsman's Club. In later years he loved having coffee with his Burger King friends. He also enjoyed attending the sporting events of his sons and granddaughters. John was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns and Penn State Nittany Lions.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Richard Thorne. John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia (Samuelson) Angeletti; sister, Carlene (Neil) Karl; sons, John (Pattie) Angeletti and Jeffrey (Pam) Angeletti; and granddaughters, Elle (Jackson) Pearson and Natalie (Matthew) White.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
