David Paul Benware age 51, of Adams Center, went to be with his Lord and Savior on 15th of July 2026 at Berkshire Medical Center due to the result of an aggressive colon cancer. Born on July 19, 1974, to Paul and Kathrine (Hall) Benware. He is survived by his brother, Jonathan Benware.
Davis was a 1993 graduate of Maple Grove Jr./Sr. High School. While in high school he participated in multiple activities including track, football, and band through school. He was also a member of Boy Scouts and Rifle Club. Through his activities he obtained many awards including Distinguished Expert in Rifle Club. His favorite event in track was shotput.
David attended Jamestown Community College before transferring to SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica. David graduated with his bachelor's degree in engineering in 1999. David worked with various employers in the area after graduation. The employers include Remington Arms, Corning, Fort Drum and Jain Irrigation. He was most recently employed with Jain Americas in Massachusetts.
In 1999, David met the love of his life, Laurie Tiller, whom he was blessed to marry as one of his dying wishes on July 14, 2026. David is also survived by his mother, Kathrine, Greenhurst, NY; his brother, Jonathan (Tammy) Benware, Falconer, NY. He is also survived by his in-laws, James and Sharon Tiller, Adams Center, NY as well as his sister-in-law, Lynne Tiller, Adams Center, NY; and a brother-in-law, Larry (Lindsay) Tiller, Belleville, NY. He is also the proud uncle of four nephews and a niece that he enjoyed spending time with. David is predeceased in death by his father, Paul Benware; a brother, Daniel Benware and a nephew, Matthew Benware.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11am Saturday 15th August 2026, at Joy Fellowship Church (Jamestown Free Methodist) The Rev Dodi McIntyre will officiate.
