Carol L. Peterson, 89, of Frewsburg, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Heritage Park Nursing Facility.
She was born on June 2, 1937 in Oil City, PA, a daughter of the late Howard W. and Katherine Reed Motter.
She had been employed at JCPenney, AVI Foodsystems, and was a cashier at Lakewood Rod & Gun Club for many years.
Carol always looked forward to fishing trips to Canada with her husband, Wayne.
She is survived by her friends Steven Olsen and Kit (Carrie) Cusimano and a great-niece Katelyn (Tyler) Mull.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne D. Peterson, who passed away on Aug. 8, 2017; a sister, Rebecca A. Aikens who passed away on Aug. 17, 2025; and a niece, Trodyann Russ.
A private graveside service will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
