Barbara J. Classon, 75, of Bemus Point passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026 in her home.
She was born May 9, 1951 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Olin and Irene Shaw Bennett.
Prior to retirement, Barb was employed in the cafeteria at Maple Grove High School.
Barb loved camping, going to the casino and working with, "her kids" at Maple Grove High School where they referred to her as, "Flo." She also enjoyed playing the guitar and writing music.
Surviving is her husband, Rodney K. Classon; two sons: Kirk Bennett, James Crocker; three stepchildren: Becky Classon-Frederes, Dana (Karie) Classon, Devon (James) Lloret; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Bill Bennett and a sister, Eilene Fleisher.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
