Barbara Elaine (Worster) Sweet, 92, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Falconer, New York, and Goldsboro, North Carolina, passed away on August 12, 2026. Barbara was born on July 9, 1934, in Jamestown, New York to Lawrence and Beatrice (Carpenter) Worster.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Roderic Sweet, her brother, Beverly Worster, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Sweet (married to Brian Fischer) of Phoenix, Arizona and son, Steven Sweet (married to DeeDee Sweet) of Las Vegas, Nevada, two grandchildren, Andrew Sweet and Jordan Sweet, and two great-grandchildren, Alivia and Lukas Sweet.
Barb was employed as a registered nurse for many years before retiring. Barb enjoyed reading and knitting. Her most cherished memories were spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
To honor Barbara's wishes, there will be no services. Her family is planning a life celebration in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make a donation to the Chautauqua County Humane Society.
