Barbara C. Foulk, 73, of West Ellicott, died Wednesday August 12, 2026, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
An area resident all her life, she was born March 23, 1953, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Walter and Joyce Johnson Mead.
She was a 1971 graduate of Southwestern Central School.
Barb loved animals so her employment at the Chautauqua County Humane Society as an office worker was a natural fit.
Surviving are two daughters Carissa (William) Dorrion of Jamestown and Erika (Cristina) Ruiz-Foulk of Gibsonville, NC; grandchildren Jessica Hodges (Garrett) and Avery and Harper Ruiz-Foulk; eight great grandchildren; two sisters Susan Leonard (Mark)and Christine (James) Reed both of Jamestown and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Cheyenne Hodges and a sister Judy Smith.
In keeping with Barb's wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
