Arthur R. Gorton, 68, of Wellman Road, Ashville, NY died August 27, 2026 at Heritage Green on hospice. Born May 14, 1958 in Ripley NY. He was the son of the late Caroline C, Gorton.
Art loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family. He was retired from his employment at Bush Industries where he was a security guard.
He is survived by his nephew, James (Sabrina Peck) Gorton Jr of Lakewood, NY, two nieces, Becky (Don) Allison of Jamestown, NY and Lena (Dale) Slater of Warren, PA. He is also survived by several family members and close friends who will miss him dearly.
Besides his mom, he was preceded in death by his brother, James W. Gorton Sr.
Per Arthur's wishes, no services will be held.
