Sylvia K. Anderson

The memorial service for Sylvia K. Anderson, 96, of Jamestown, who died June 24, 2026, will be held at 3 pm Saturday July 11, 2026, in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service.
Prior to her retirement she was employed by WCA Hospital from 1952-62 working as a registered medical technologist under Dr. William Tracy.
Surviving are two children, John (Cheryl) Anderson and Beth (Oren) Bendavid-Val and grandchildren Ryan and Christopher Anderson and Eli and Inez Bendavid-Val.
She was preceded in death by her husband M. Harold “Brud” Anderson, whom she married June 24, 1961, and who died September 22, 1998.
Memorial donations can be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society in her honor.
