Shirley Ann Johnson

Born June 23, 1953, in Merkel, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Hubert L. and Elizabeth Horton Randell. She graduated from Wylie High School and Draughon’s Business College in Texas. Shirley worked for many years at The Home Depot in Jamestown before retiring in 2021.

Shirley enjoyed gardening, caring for her plants, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children: Stacy Johnson of Falconer, NY; Andrew (Rebecca) Johnson of Jamestown, NY; and Leanne Johnson of Cranberry Township, PA; six grandchildren: Michael Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Jayden Johnson, Owen Ross, Atlas Johnson, and Mila Johnson; her brother, Ray Randell of Odessa, TX; and her sisters, Louise Tucker of Odessa, TX, and Jean Withrow of San Antonio, TX.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenton L. Johnson, whom she married on October 25, 1975, in View, Texas, and who died on July 23, 2025, and by her brothers, James Randell and Billy Randell.

No visitation will be observed. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery at a later date.
