1981-2026

Samuel Abbott III, age 44, cherished son, brother, and friend, was born on August 27, 1981, in Jamestown, NY. He concluded his courageous 13-year battle with Ependymoma on July 25, 2026, at home in Jamestown, transitioning to a better realm , leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.

Sam was predeceased by his grandmothers, Betty and EthelAnn, grandfather Arthur, stepfather Dennis, and uncle Daniel.

Sam's spirit lives on in the hearts of those he left behind: his devoted Mother, Annette, his Father, Samuel, his Step Mother, Maureen, his Brother, Brandon, and his Sister, Bronson (Allison), alongside several Step-Siblings. His grandfather, Russell, Aunt Cindy, Uncles Art, Russell, and John. His faithful feline companion, Hank, brought him endless joy and comfort.

A proud graduate of Falconer High School, class of 1999, Sam was renowned for his boundless school spirit and infectious humor. Sam worked 11 years at Bob Evans restaurant until he was diagnosed with a tumor on his brain stem.

Sam possessed an extraordinary ability to make people laugh, and he delighted in sharing laughter with those around him. His love for movies was unparalleled; he had an uncanny knack for recalling the names of actors and directors, and he held a special place in his heart for films like Deadpool. A true aficionado, he immersed himself in the world of Yu-gi-oh cards, pro wrestling, and gaming, and he was an ardent fan of the Buffalo Bills. Cat videos were a simple pleasure that brought him countless smiles.

In honor of Sam's memory and his compassionate nature, the family suggests donations to Hospice or the Humane Society, reflecting his love for animals and his appreciation for the care he received.

A casual celebration of Life will be held at Falconer Fire Exempt Hall, 1 Coleson Drive, Falconer, on August 29, 1-5 PM.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Abad and his dedicated team at Roswell, as well as the Chautauqua Hospice team, for their unwavering support and exceptional care throughout Sam's journey.

Samuel Abbott III will be remembered for his courageous sprit, his joyful laughter, and the love he shared with everyone he met. His memory will forever inspire those who knew him to live with kindness, humor, and an unwavering zest for life.
