Patricia A. Jentes Eimers

Born in Jamestown on October 17, 1937, the daughter of William & Ruth Jentes, she was raised by her maternal Grandparents Carl August Rudolph Bloom & Jennie J Bloom, graduating from Jamestown High School in 1955. She married Charles R. Eimers in October 1955.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles in 1988 and her daughter Catherine Rhea Eimers in 2025. She is survived by her brother Tim Jentes (Josie); her children, Charles R. Eimers, Jr (Kelly), Jenniene E. Scarem (Brett), Patrick A Eimers (Donna); her long-time companion, John Nyweide; grandchildren, Morgan Baker, Brad Woodward, Justin Eimers and Dillon Eimers; and great grandchildren, Alex Woodward, Elias Eimers, Adaiah Eimers, Leo Baker, Aubrey Woodward, and Liam Woodward.

Patricia was a Certified NY Assessor with an IAO designation for many years in the Towns of Ellicott, Ellington and Cherry Creek. She loved to read and volunteered as a reading tutor in retirement. She was an avid horsewoman who trained and showed her beloved Morgans and Arabians for years in Dressage, Breed shows and Carriage Driving. In her 80’s, she became competitive with Tractor pulls sponsored by Antique Tractor Clubs in the area, always ready to win in her weight class with glee. Her strength, wry sense of humor and generous spirit will be greatly missed.

Arrangements are being made through Lind Funeral Home in Jamestown, NY. Visitation will be observed on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 4 – 7 pm. The Funeral will be at 11 am on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Lind’s. Pastor Brett Scarem will officiate.

The family suggests memorials be made to The Town of Ellington Volunteer Fire Department to honor their excellent care and professionalism.
