Nancy A. Vandermolen

She graduated in 1973 from Southwestern Central High School, Lakewood, NY. She went to New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.

Nancy was a Tableware Designer and moved to Lancaster, PA to work at Pfaltzgraff where she became a Master Model & Mold Maker. Nancy worked at Wilton Armetele where she continued sculpting her designs as well as Wilton designs. There she developed and worked on their top selling design of Flutes & Pearls. She had a brief entrepreneurial venture with Dogs in Cast Stone and Metal. At the end of her career, she worked for the John Wright Company.

When not working as a creative she enjoyed going to museums and visiting architectural sites. She loved spending time with her friends, traveling and antiquing. Her passions included swimming, woodworking and riding her Vespa.

She is survived by her brother, Jon Vandermolen, Lakewood, NY and her longtime friend, Debbie Sigel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nancy’s Celebration of Life Gathering on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 12:00-2:30 p.m. at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA 17603.
