Myrtle Marie Oviatt Fisher Spacht

In her working days, Myrtle was a waitress at Cozy Nook restaurant in Sherman, NY. She was a proud member of the Farm Bureau ladies’ group in Sherman, NY. Myrtle enjoyed eating out, going to the casino for bingo, and going for drives in the country. She enjoyed flowers in the garden and sitting out on the porch enjoying the outdoors.

Myrtle is survived by her children, Thomas David Fisher of Jamestown, NY, Carol Davis (Ronald) of Ridgeland, SC, and Gary L Fisher of Cold Water, MS and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Myrtle was preceded in death by infant son, son Dennis Fisher, brother, Kenneth and Robert, sister, Thelma, infant grandson, Derrick, stepfathers, Richard Arp and Harry Farth, and husband, Joseph Spacht.

Her companion of 17 years Ralph Compton also preceded her in death.

No visitation will be held. A celebration of life will be held on July 17th at 11am at Lakewood Baptist Church in Lakewood, NY. A gathering will be held immediately following the service. A private burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Belfast, NY.
