Laura Lee Martin
1928-2026
Laura Lee Martin, 97, of Clymer, NY, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Forestview Nursing Home, Erie, PA.
She was born on July 20, 1928, in Beaver Crossing, NE, a daughter of the late Daniel and Della (Stutzman) Troyer.
As a young girl, Laura moved to Ohio and then Spartansburg, PA, where she graduated from Spartansburg High School in 1946. She then worked at General Electric and the Boston Store in Erie. Once Laura married, her main priority was raising and taking care of her family and help ing on the dairy farm.
She was member of Crossroads Fellowship Church (formerly Beaverdam Mennonite Church).
She enjoyed cooking, baking and most importantly spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Titus Martin, whom she married on June 3, 1961, and three brothers, Duane, Clifford and Cletus Troyer.
Laura is survived by three daughters, Lisa (Paul Mumaw) Martin of Centerville, OH, Becky (Tom) Wandzilak of Hershey, PA and Julie (Keith) Hostetler of Marshallville, OH; son, David (Dorcas Lacayo) Martin of Clymer, NY and two brothers, Norman and Mervin Troyer both of Union City, PA.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, July 9th at Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA 16407 from 5 pm to 8 pm and on Friday, July 10th at Crossroads Fellowship
Church, 17721 Route 89, Corry, PA 16407 from 10 am until the time of the funeral service there at 11 am. Pastor Randy Carr will officiate.
Burial will be in Lawn Cemetery, Beaverdam, PA.
